Hello. I’m David, owner of Duneland Pottery, potter, curator and painter. As an artist, I believe that function and beauty coexist seamlessly. My work is rooted in a belief that hand made art carries stories - of touch, intention and time and place. Every piece I create holds a dialogue between tradition and individuality, inviting the user to slow down, engage, and enjoy the quiet beauty of the hand made. Beyond the wheel, I am passionate about making space - for creativity, for connection, and for community.

Duneland Pottery is supported by independent potters that are continuing their venture of ceramic art. Our welcoming studio offers aspiring and experienced potters alike, the chance to dive right into the art of pottery through exciting and challenging opportunities. Create your own works of ceramic art thru the practice of building by hand, or get centered on our professional grade potter’s wheels. Plenty of tools and resources available for your clay art. I am currently using Standard brand clays and a variety of in house mixed glazes. *Approved commercial glazes within a cone 5 to cone 6 range may be fired.
